GIYU KAIUN have focused on sea freight handling and all related transportation activities from packing, marine transport, inland transport, to installation works since our establishment in 1898, and have reached our 120th anniversary in 2018. For over a century, our operations are highly appreciated by our valued customers domestically and internationally. Especially in the range of transportation of heavy cargo, plant, machinery, home appliances, and electrical equipment, we provide our services including intermodal transportation for valued customers through our well experienced techniques, knowledge, and quality. As an AEO we strive to maintain security measures and compliance, and to ensure fair trade by strict compliance with laws and ordinances. Obtained “Certificate of AEO Customs Broker”

Our company is the "Certified customs broker" recognized as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) by the Japan Customs for excellent cargo managements and law compliance systems.
AEO is compliant with C-TPAT(Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism), which aims for the prevention of terrorism and its purpose is to secure the cargo itself and also secure whole logistics systems through joint efforts by both the government and private sectors.
AEO is now spreading worldwide and to obtain this certificate is the most essential elements in the field of international logistics from now on.

QUALIFICATION

To offer continuous qualified services, we adopt ISO management system. We observe operation and management system, and modify in case of impropriety.

Certificate of conformity for the quality management system of Giyu Kaiun Co., Ltd. Certified under JIS Q 9001:2015 (ISO 9001:2015), covering export/import operations, customs clearance, transportation of heavy cargo and plants, and domestic transportation control of machinery. Issued by Nippon Kaiji Kentei Quality Assurance Ltd. Registration number: NQA-0679A. Initial certification date: July 31, 2003. Valid until: July 30, 2025. Certified sites are listed in the annex.
Giyu Kaiun Co., Ltd. has obtained certification for its Quality Management System (Certificate No. NQA-2401879QA, valid until July 30, 2025), covering the Head Office in Chuo-ku, Kobe (responsible for QMS management, order placement and receipt, contracting, occupational health and safety, computer systems, import/export, customs clearance, and domestic transportation), as well as the Port Island West and East Branch Offices (both located in Chuo-ku, Kobe), which handle order placement and receipt, warehousing in/out, storage, and transportation management.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Giyu Kaiun's staff have understood importance of environmental preservation and improvement, aimed to uplifting consciousness.
And we are conducting to observe environmental laws and regulation, and for continuous improvement of corporate policy.
  • To minimize consumption of energy to prevent from global warming.
  • To conserve the ozone layer, we replace aircondioning using Freon gradually and clear out standing on related laws.
  • To maintain soil and underground water safety, we aim for strict storage of equipment using polychlorinated-biphenyl, clear out according to related laws, and brush off those equipment.
  • To effective use of resources, we try to decrease consumption of paper and use recycled paper.
